Dyeing
The fleece or fibres may be dyed prior to carding. I dye in
a large copper, therefore you must make sure when buying
any dyed products,
you buy enough for the article you are making as each dye
batch may differ slightly. Some of the colours that are in
the dyed
range are overdyed from coloured fleeces, this also produces
slight colour differences, but give a lovely depth or life
to the sliver.
